choosing wedding coverage
There’s no “right” amount of coverage for every wedding. Your perfect timeline should reflect what matters most to you and the moments you want to remember for years to come!

6 Hour coverage is great if you:
- Are okay skipping details, flat-lays, and most of the getting ready portion of the day.
- Care most about the ceremony, portraits, and the beginning of your reception.
- Don't plan on having a grand exit.
- Are having a smaller or intimate wedding.
- Want beautiful coverage without full-day documentation.
- Are comfortable focusing on the big moments rather than documenting every part of the day.
8 hour coverage is great if you:
- Want to briefly touch on details, flat-lays, and the bride getting ready
- Plan on having a first look
- Want plenty of time for portraits without feeling rushed.
- Want to capture reception traditions like speeches, first dances, cake cutting, and some dancing.
- You want a more relaxed timeline with extra breathing room throughout the day.
- You value flexibility in case your timeline runs behind.
10 hour coverage is great if you:
- Want both partners getting ready documented.
- Want candids throughout the day
- Have multiple locations or significant travel time.
- Are planning a large wedding.
- Want your entire reception, open dance floor, and grand exit captured.
- Want a relaxed wedding day with plenty of flexibility, so you're never watching the clock.
- Never want to wonder, "I wish we had that photographed."
